WoWMidnight

WoWMidnight appeared as a Twitch global on January 18, 2026, two days before Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Midnight pre-expansion update. The image uses a purple World of Warcraft `W` emblem, while the command joins the familiar `WoW` abbreviation directly to the expansion title `Midnight`.

On January 20, Blizzard opened the pre-expansion update and began a Twitch Drop that awarded the Cuddly Green Grrgle housing decoration after four hours watching eligible World of Warcraft streams. Midnight launched worldwide on March 2, and WoWMidnight remained global through March 23.

When this emote was active, viewers typed WoWMidnight in Twitch chat to use it. It was a direct Midnight reaction during the pre-expansion update, the Cuddly Green Grrgle Twitch Drop window and the expansion's March launch.
