WholeWheat

WholeWheat is an early Twitch staff-era portrait of Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham. Twitch called Graham the "Godfather of Video Game Broadcasting" in 2014, when he moved from three years on the Partnerships team into the role of Director of Community and Education. His Partnerships work covered esports, mobile gaming and trading card games, building on more than a decade he had already spent as an online broadcaster. The command turns the djWHEAT handle into the ordinary food phrase "whole wheat," so the name itself supplies the joke.

Viewers type WholeWheat in Twitch chat to use it. It fits djWHEAT references, early Twitch and esports-broadcasting nostalgia, or simple wheat and whole-wheat wordplay.
