VhagarChamp

VhagarChamp was a House of the Dragon global emote released for a Twitch and HBO Max live tournament in June 2026. Vhagar is one of the oldest dragons in George R. R. Martin's Targaryen history. She was ridden by Queen Visenya Targaryen during Aegon's Conquest alongside Balerion and Meraxes, then survived long enough to outlive the original conquerors.

By the period covered in House of the Dragon, Vhagar is the enormous war dragon claimed by Prince Aemond Targaryen. The series is set about 200 years before Game of Thrones and follows House Targaryen as the succession crisis develops into the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. Twitch tied VhagarChamp directly to its tournament by telling viewers to spam the emote during the event for a chance to win Twitch Gift Subs.

When this emote was active, viewers typed VhagarChamp in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used VhagarChamp during the House of the Dragon tournament for Vhagar and Aemond references, dragon battles, Targaryen reactions, tournament cheering and the event's Gift Sub promotion.
