VeladaGero represented Argentine fitness creator Gero Arias. His online identity was built around physical challenges, including a widely covered run of 366 consecutive pull-ups at Buenos Aires' Obelisk. By the end of 2025 he had also moved beyond fitness demonstrations and beaten Tomás Mazza at Párense de Manos 3.

La Velada VI gave him the most experienced opponent available in Viruzz. Gero had even talked publicly about wanting to take boxing far enough to aim at the 2028 Olympics. Against Viruzz he scored a first-round knockdown and then took all five judges' cards, beating the fighter who had entered the night with more La Velada appearances than anyone else on the card.
