TWITH

TWITH began during herokerrey's August 22, 2024 charity stream for the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association. She was writing donor names on her body for $5 contributions, and when Twitch donated she gave the platform the most visible spot on her forehead. She accidentally left out the `C`, producing `TWITH`.

The next day Twitch joined the joke, then recreated the typo in her handwriting as an alternate logo and changed its X profile image to TWITH. The same handwritten mistake reached TwitchCon as pins and temporary tattoos handed out by Twitch and herokerrey before becoming an official Global Emote.

Viewers type TWITH in Twitch chat for Twitch self-jokes, spelling mistakes, and callbacks to the charity-stream typo that Twitch turned into an alternate logo and Global Emote.
