TwitchSings

TwitchSings uses the branding of Twitch Sings, the karaoke game Twitch developed with Harmonix. Twitch announced the project at TwitchCon 2018 and opened a closed beta that November. The game was built specifically for livestreaming rather than being a normal karaoke title that happened to appear on Twitch.

Twitch Sings launched publicly on April 13, 2019 during TwitchCon Europe with nearly 2,000 songs. Viewers could request songs, choose challenges and use Cheers to trigger light shows and virtual ovations while the streamer performed, making chat part of the karaoke session instead of a separate audience.

Twitch shut Twitch Sings down on January 1, 2021 and said it was moving its investment toward broader music tools and services. The TwitchSings global remained in Twitch's emote catalogue, preserving the name of a discontinued Twitch game after the game itself stopped working.
