TwitchRPG

TwitchRPG is named for the Twitch Research Power Group, Twitch's viewer research community. Despite the familiar gaming abbreviation, RPG here means "Research Power Group," not "role-playing game." Members answer surveys that help Twitch collect feedback about the platform, creators and brand partnerships.

Sponsored TwitchRPG surveys can reward participants with between 100 and 500 Bits, which can then be used to Cheer in eligible Twitch channels. Other surveys are unrewarded research or community questionnaires, so TwitchRPG is both a feedback program and one of Twitch's unusual ways for viewers to earn Bits without purchasing them.

The global emote uses an angular green creature, but Twitch has not given that artwork a separate public character identity. The command and the research program are the useful origin story.
