TransgenderPride

The current TransgenderPride emote carries the transgender-flag design from Twitch's permanent Pride global-emote program. In June 2018, Twitch launched four Pride globals based on its Cheer for Equality shirts while spotlighting LGBTQ+ creators and raising money with the Human Rights Campaign. Twitch said the full $7 profit from each Pride shirt would go to HRC, and the four matching global emotes would remain available after Pride Month. The image places the transgender flag inside a heart formed by purple hands.

Monica Helms designed the transgender pride flag in 1999 and first displayed it publicly at Phoenix Pride in 2000. She chose light blue and pink for colors traditionally associated with boys and girls, while the white stripe represents people who are intersex, transitioning, or do not have a defined gender.

Viewers type TransgenderPride in Twitch chat to use it. It expresses transgender pride, support for transgender creators and viewers, celebration of affirming moments, and solidarity during Pride events or conversations about trans identity and community.
