TheOne

TheOne was tied to Jordan Brand's 2024 global one-on-one basketball tournament. Qualifiers in cities around the world sent 20 young players to District 23 in Paris for the July 26 finals, which Jordan announced would stream live on Twitch.

Fourteen-year-old Tatianna Griffin of Los Angeles and 17-year-old Steve Bah of Paris won the women's and men's brackets. Each received a championship belt and a Jordan Brand partnership that included a role in the upcoming Air Jordan 40 campaign. The emote's raised number-one gesture matched the tournament twice over: the format was one-on-one, and its winners were literally crowned `The One`.

When this emote was active, viewers typed TheOne in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used it during Jordan Brand's tournament for one-on-one basketball, winning plays, confident number-one callouts and moments when a player looked ready to take the title.
