SUBtember is an animated global named after Twitch's recurring September subscription promotion. The command compresses "sub" and "September" into SUBtember, while the purple blocky face repeatedly opens and closes its mouth in the animation.

Twitch added this exact identity on August 29, 2024, the first day of SUBtember 2024. That edition ran until October 1 and stretched across five weekends, with 25 percent discounts on one-month and three-month subscriptions and 30 percent off six-month subscriptions.

The 2024 event also introduced Bonus Bits and Bonus Gift Subs. From September 12 to 17 Twitch added 10 percent extra Bits to qualifying Cheers of 300 Bits or more, and from September 26 to October 1 it added one bonus gift subscription for every five qualifying gift subs purchased. VALORANT was the official sponsor of SUBtember 2024.
