SpideyThwip

SpideyThwip shows Spider-Man's red-gloved hand making his familiar web-shooting gesture. "Spidey" is a common nickname for Spider-Man, while "thwip" is the written sound Marvel uses for the firing of his web shooters. The command therefore names both the character and the sound implied by the hand pose.

Twitch added SpideyThwip on July 25, 2026, during the July 24 to 26 open beta for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Spider-Man was one of the playable Marvel characters in the Arc System Works fighting game, and Twitch's Summer Drop Fest offered a Spider-Man chat badge to viewers who bought a subscription in the game's category during the same beta weekend.

The emote does not need to imitate Spider-Man's full mask or costume because the red glove, curled middle fingers and "thwip" command already encode one of the superhero's most recognizable actions.
