SpaceShake

SpaceShake was a limited Twitch global emote for the first anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in September 2025. Focus Entertainment told viewers they could use it on any Twitch stream through September 8 to "show your brotherhood" and shake hands with fellow viewers, and credited artist SpyderOwO for the artwork. The promotion ran alongside the September 4 Anniversary Update, which opened the game's second year with two new modes, new maps, weapons and enemies.

The command turns a handshake into a Space Marine joke. "Space" points to Space Marine 2, while "Shake" describes the greeting itself. In a game centered on heavily armored Space Marines fighting Tyranids and Chaos, the handshake made the battle-brother language of the setting into a literal chat gesture.

When this emote was active, viewers typed SpaceShake in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used SpaceShake to greet other Space Marine 2 fans, celebrate co-op victories, react to the anniversary update and show squad camaraderie during Operations, Eternal War and other Warhammer streams.
