SpaceShake

SpaceShake was a limited Twitch global emote tied to the first anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in September 2025. The anniversary update launched on September 4 and began the game's second year with two new modes, additional maps, weapons, enemies and other free content. A companion Twitch promotion encouraged viewers to use SpaceShake as a way of showing "brotherhood" with other people in chat.

The name turns a simple handshake into a Space Marine joke. "Space" points to Space Marine 2, while "Shake" describes the friendly gesture at the centre of the promotion. That contrast fits the game particularly well: Space Marine 2 is built around enormous armored warriors fighting Tyranids and Chaos, but the emote gave their Twitch audience a deliberately friendly way to greet fellow battle-brothers during the anniversary celebration.

When this emote was active, viewers typed SpaceShake in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used SpaceShake to greet other Space Marine 2 fans, celebrate co-op victories, react to the anniversary update and show squad camaraderie during Operations, Eternal War and other Warhammer streams.
