SoBayed

SoBayed uses Twitch employee and streamer `s0n0s`. The command was already part of Twitch chat by 2012, and a 2013 description explained it as the reaction after making a bad joke while already expecting chat to call you out for it.

The command also became a literal `so bad` reaction. An academic study of an ESL Dota 2 broadcast records viewers using SoBayed during technical problems, including sarcastic `NICE TOURNAMENT` messages and the `TRASH AUDIO / TRASH CROWD / TRASH TEAMS / MUST BE ESL` copypasta. The study explicitly describes SoBayed there as an indicator that the stream was "so bad."

Taiwan's Hearthstone community gave the command another meaning around ahq player Shaxy. His repeated `在幹嘛在幹嘛` or "what are you doing?" catchphrase became paired with SoBayed in chat, and viewers also spammed the emote when his streams broke into sudden shouting.

Viewers type SoBayed after a knowingly bad joke or when something is going badly enough to mock. In Taiwanese Hearthstone chat, it also became a Shaxy callback for `在幹嘛在幹嘛` and his louder moments.
