SimsPlumbob

SimsPlumbob appeared on Twitch on February 4, 2025 as The Sims celebrated its 25th birthday. That afternoon EA began a 25-hour birthday livestream across Twitch, YouTube and TikTok, with guests including Doja Cat, Latto, Trixie Mattel and Katya alongside Sims creators from around the world.

The image uses the green Plumbob, the diamond that marks the active Sim or household in the series and became the franchise's signature symbol. For the same 25th birthday, EA and the Pantone Color Institute created an official `Plumbob Green` color inspired by the familiar diamond.

The Twitch global lasted less than two days. It was added on February 4 and removed on February 6, 2025, closely matching the anniversary broadcast window.

When this emote was active, viewers typed SimsPlumbob in Twitch chat to use it. It was a direct The Sims reaction for the 25th-birthday livestream, while the green diamond also worked as the franchise's familiar marker for the Sim or household currently being played.
