PunchTrees

PunchTrees shows Steve, one of Minecraft's default player skins. The command names one of the game's literal opening actions: Mojang's own crafting guide calls tree-punching a time-honored tradition and says punching a tree is one of the first things players do.

The wood starts Minecraft's basic crafting chain. One wood block becomes four planks, and four planks make a crafting table, opening the larger recipe system. Mojang's speedrunning guide begins the same way, with `Punch a tree`, `Get some wood` and `Make a crafting table`.
