PotFriend

PotFriend showed one of Elden Ring's Living Jars, sentient ceramic warriors found across the Lands Between. The best known of them is Iron Fist Alexander, a friendly Warrior Jar first met stuck in a hole in Limgrave. Alexander travels in search of stronger opponents, joins the festival battle against Starscourge Radahn, and treats each fight as another step toward becoming a great warrior.

Twitch released PotFriend as Elden Ring launched in February 2022. The jar image quickly picked up a second life in chat outside the game itself. Viewers spammed PotFriend when an ordinary pot, vase or jar appeared on stream, often adding "POOOOOT" alongside it.

When this emote was active, viewers typed PotFriend in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used PotFriend during Elden Ring streams for Living Jar and Iron Fist Alexander references. It was also spammed whenever a pot, vase or jar appeared on screen, with "POOOOOT" becoming part of the joke in some Twitch communities.
