PopGhost

PopGhost was a Twitch global emote for Destiny 2's Salvation's Edge World First race. The name mixed a Destiny Ghost with popcorn. It made the player's floating companion into a spectator watching the raid race.

Bungie and Twitch Rivals made Salvation's Edge a watch event. Viewers could earn Destiny emblems and Ghost chat badges while teams tried to solve the raid first. PopGhost belonged to the audience side of that race: wipes, callouts, puzzle guesses, and the wait for the first clear.

When this emote was active, viewers typed PopGhost in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used PopGhost during Destiny 2 raid-race streams when a fireteam wiped, solved an encounter, reached a tense damage phase, or chat settled in to watch the race.
