PogChamp

This PogChamp is the Komodo dragon replacement chosen in 2021, not the original PogChamp that used Ryan "Gootecks" Gutierrez's face. Twitch removed the original image in January 2021 after Gutierrez posted comments encouraging further unrest following the attack on the U.S. Capitol, while saying it wanted the PogChamp reaction and its place in Twitch culture to continue.

Twitch then replaced the command with a different face every 24 hours. The rotating PogChamp idea followed a suggestion from streamer Sean "Day[9]" Plott and ran for 35 daily replacements, featuring creators and community figures instead of immediately choosing one permanent successor.

On February 12, Twitch ended the rotation with a community vote called The PogChampening. The final choice was between streamer UmiNoKaiju and the existing KomodoHype image. KomodoHype won with 81 percent of the vote, and Twitch made the wide-eyed Komodo dragon the permanent PogChamp. The original KomodoHype command stayed available too, leaving two separate Twitch emotes that use the same dragon image.
