OpieOP

OpieOP shows Jason `Opie` Babo, who publicly identifies himself as the face of the Twitch Global Emote. Babo worked in the early game-streaming industry at own3D and Twitch, and a 2017 Method profile described seven years of work across those two services before he joined Method as general manager.

Babo was already joking about the emote's reach in October 2014, posting that OpieOP was apparently one of Twitch's most popular emotes and thanking viewers with a hesitant `I think?`.

Some Twitch communities later used OpieOP as a body-size insult aimed at people other than Babo. That viewer-created use is separate from the pictured employee and should not be treated as the purpose of his portrait.

Viewers type OpieOP for Jason Babo, early Twitch staff history and direct Opie references. Body-size insults associated with the emote are historical misuse rather than recommended chat behavior.
