OnlyYou

OnlyYou was created for Smokey Bear's 80th birthday celebration on Twitch. The two-hour October 2024 stream was hosted by SimCopter1 with Mississippi State Forester Russell Bozeman and mixed wildfire-prevention education with Smokey trivia, a custom safety game, GeoGuessr, historic PSA reactions and a live question-and-answer segment. A global Smokey Bear emote was made available so viewers could carry the birthday campaign into chats across Twitch.

The command comes from a slogan with nearly the same lifespan as Smokey himself. The wildfire-prevention campaign began in 1944, and `Remember... Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires` was introduced in 1947. In 2001 the wording changed to `Only You Can Prevent Wildfires`, broadening the message beyond forest fires while keeping the personal-responsibility phrase that became the emote's name.

When this emote was active, viewers typed OnlyYou in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used it for Smokey Bear's birthday stream, wildfire-prevention reminders, outdoor-safety discussions, Smokey references and moments where the phrase "only you" fit a responsibility or warning in chat.
