OMGScoots

OMGScoots showed longtime esports broadcaster and organizer SirScoots in a wide-eyed, open-mouthed reaction. The command combines `OMG`, matching the shocked face, with `Scoots`, his online name.

Its removal is unusually well documented because SirScoots explained the decision himself. In 2017 he said the global disappeared because he did not want to sign away broader rights to his image and name. Twitch wanted rights that extended beyond chat and could include merchandise or other commercial uses, while Scoots wanted direct control over where his face and name appeared.

The emote also had a specific esports-caster running joke. When it vanished, viewers immediately asked what they were supposed to spam when Azael spoke. SirScoots replied that Azael was a friend who had previously played and worked for him at Evil Geniuses, and noted that those viewers were especially upset by the removal.

When this emote was active, viewers typed OMGScoots in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used it for shock, amazement, unbelievable esports moments and the long-running Azael broadcast joke attached to the face.
