NRWylder depicted Wylder, the balanced starting Nightfarer from Elden Ring Nightreign, and came from Twitch’s launch-week Nightreign promotion. Twitch surrounded the release with a platform-wide death counter and limited badges, including a Wylder Class badge earned by downloading and sharing Elden Ring clips.

Wylder was also the natural introductory face of Nightreign: his Claw Shot can grapple enemies or pull him rapidly across the battlefield, while Onslaught Stake drives an explosive iron stake into a target. Twitch credited CarsonDrewIt with creating the Nightreign badges and the Wylder global emote.

When this emote was active, viewers typed NRWylder in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used it around Wylder picks, Nightreign runs, clutch survivals, deaths and discussion of the game’s most immediately approachable Nightfarer.
