NightBat

NightBat represented Nightmare Batman, the vampiric Bruce Wayne from Infinite Crisis. Batman became a vampire during his final fight with a vampiric Ra's al Ghul; after his control eventually broke, he killed the Joker and drank his blood. Horrified by what he had become, Bruce asked to be staked through the heart, and his later resurrection left little of the man he had been.

Twitch viewers also used the command as wordplay. A 2014 Dota discussion placed NightBat directly after the words `by night` to finish a Batman joke. When NightBat disappeared in January 2016, viewers specifically singled it out among the old Globals they missed.

When this emote was active, viewers typed NightBat in Twitch chat to use it. One documented use turned the phrase `by night` into a visual Batman punch line; the command also directly named the vampire Batman from Infinite Crisis.
