This NewRecord is the flaming purple boxing-glove version created for Ibai Llanos after La Velada del Año II. On June 25, 2022, Ibai's creator-boxing event reached more than 3.3 million concurrent viewers on Twitch, breaking the platform record previously held by TheGrefg's Fortnite Icon Series skin reveal.

La Velada del Año II was staged at the Palau Olímpic in Badalona and mixed influencer boxing with live entertainment. The peak came during an event featuring creators including Momo, Viruzz, AriGamePlays, Spursito, Luzu, Lolito and Mr. Jagger. Twitch congratulated Ibai publicly for the new record, while Ibai described the milestone as a record for the Spain and Latin American community rather than for himself alone.

Twitch introduced this NewRecord design on December 19, 2022. The purple boxing glove ties the record directly to La Velada instead of using a generic trophy, and the surrounding flames turn the punch into a visual record-smashing reaction.

The same design language returned in 2024. When La Velada del Año IV set another Twitch viewership record, Twitch created AnotherRecord with a new boxing glove and flames, explicitly building on the NewRecord idea.
