MechaRobot showed a stylized mechanical head in dark gray and bright magenta. It appeared on Twitch on June 3, 2022, one day before Fortnite's COLLISION season-ending event.

COLLISION put players inside Mecha Strike Commander, the giant battle mech used during the event. Epic Games later described Mecha Strike Commander as the legendary battle mech players operated during COLLISION and also released the machine as the June 2022 Fortnite Crew outfit. MechaRobot's June 3 release placed its robot image and command immediately before a Fortnite event centered on piloting that mech.

When this emote was active, viewers typed MechaRobot in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used it during Fortnite's COLLISION period, for Mecha Strike Commander, robots and giant-mech moments, and for battle scenes where a huge machine or mechanical character became the focus.
