LoveSmash

LoveSmash was one of Twitch’s limited-time global emotes for the 2025 “Share the Love” Valentine’s event. Twitch released four Valentine emotes for the event, all designed by Twitch Partner VideoGameShay, along with a Share the Love chat badge that viewers could unlock by sharing a Twitch clip.

LoveSmash was the loudest emote in that set. Instead of only being soft or cute, it gave chat a more dramatic way to react to crushes, affection, Valentine’s jokes, and over-the-top romantic moments. It belonged to a Twitch event about love and friendship, but the name made it feel more forceful and playful than a normal heart emote.

When this emote was active, viewers typed LoveSmash in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used LoveSmash when chat was reacting to Valentine’s Day moments, crush jokes, dramatic affection, wholesome friendship, or a streamer doing something unexpectedly sweet.
