LionOfYara

LionOfYara is a golden lion head built around Ubisoft's own language for the ruling family in Far Cry 6. Ubisoft titled its character material about dictator Antón Castillo and his son Diego `Lions of Yara`, turning the lion into a recurring metaphor for the family that controls the fictional Caribbean nation.

The comparison is even more explicit inside Ubisoft's in-universe propaganda. Antón calls his father a "true lion," then says Diego is strong, resilient and "a true lion" like his father and grandfather, destined to become Yara's future president. LionOfYara turns that Castillo family metaphor into the literal animal shown by the emote.

When this emote was active, viewers typed LionOfYara in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used it for Far Cry 6, Yara, Antón or Diego Castillo, lion references and scenes centered on the Castillo regime or its propaganda.
