LaundryBasket

LaundryBasket is an overflowing wicker basket of clothes from Twitch's April Fools 2022 period. It arrived in the same April 1 global-emote batch as PizzaTime, Shush, MyAvatar, and ModLove, while Twitch temporarily launched five joke streaming categories that day.

One of those categories was `Chores, Odd Jobs, and Errands`, built around mundane jobs instead of ordinary IRL content. With its overflowing pile of clothes, LaundryBasket was a literal chores reaction during that same April Fools window. The category became more than a menu joke: creators used it for real spring-cleaning and organizing streams before Twitch removed the temporary categories later in April.
