KevinTurtle shows Klutch, an early Twitch streamer and member of the platform's moderation team. His channel became closely associated with the global, later describing itself as "The home of KevinTurtle." The image is a real-person portrait rather than a turtle, making KevinTurtle one of Twitch's stranger early face-emote names.

The emote later acquired a very different history through viewer misuse.

KevinTurtle was repeatedly repurposed for racist reactions involving real-person face emotes. Trihex cited KevinTurtle while discussing how bad actors could migrate from one face emote to another, and in 2019 xQc's Ancestors chat also restricted KevinTurtle-related spam after viewers used face emotes for racist comments.

That behavior came from viewers. It should not be treated as Klutch's intent or as the meaning of his original portrait.
