KappaRoss

KappaRoss was released for the launch of Twitch Creative on October 28, 2015, when Twitch created a dedicated home for painting, drawing, animation, crafts and other creative streams. The launch was built around an 8.5-day marathon of all 403 original episodes of Bob Ross's The Joy of Painting. The emote keeps Kappa's grayscale face but gives it Bob Ross's distinctive mass of curly hair, while the command combines Kappa with Ross.

The marathon became one of Twitch Creative's defining early broadcasts. Twitch continued showing Bob Ross on Mondays after the launch marathon, and by the following year KappaRoss had been used about 3.8 million times. Twitch then brought the Bob Ross marathon back for its 2016 anniversary and introduced CoolStoryBob as another global tied to the painter.
