JKanStyle

JKanStyle shows Justin Kan, whose round-the-clock lifecast launched Justin.tv in 2007. Justin.tv later produced the gaming-focused Twitch brand, and Kan was one of the founders behind both services.

Kan later recalled that the early team agreed to turn several founders into chat emotes: JKanStyle for Kan, StoneLightning for Michael Seibel, OptimizePrime for Emmett Shear and TheRinger for Kyle Vogt. The command combines `JKan` with `Style`. StoneLightning, OptimizePrime and TheRinger preserved the other founder faces Kan named from the same early emote decision.

Kan continued to claim the emote years later. Asked in 2021 for his favorite Twitch emote, he answered `JKanStyle`.

Viewers type JKanStyle for Justin Kan, Justin.tv and founder-era Twitch references, or when the command's `Style` wording fits a confident or self-satisfied moment.
