ItsBoshyTime

ItsBoshyTime shows Boshy, the small yellow warning-sign hero of I Wanna Be The Boshy. Developer Jesper "Solgryn" Erlandsen announced the game in May 2010 and wrote that its name was inspired by Justin.tv broadcaster BoshyTime, to whom he dedicated the project. BoshyTime and fellow Justin.tv broadcaster Michael_2010 were already playing development builds on stream while Solgryn was building the early worlds and bosses.

The game is built around immediate failure and another try. Boshy has no hit points and dies as soon as he takes damage, while a fast reload lets the player attack the same trap or boss again almost immediately. Streamers and YouTubers helped popularize the game by taking on its one-hit traps and bosses, and by July 2014 ItsBoshyTime was already appearing repeatedly in Kripp chat copypasta outside dedicated Boshy runs.

Viewers type ItsBoshyTime for I Wanna Be The Boshy, brutal platforming sections, one-hit deaths, repeated resets and the start of another difficult attempt. It also works as a callback to the Justin.tv broadcaster whose name became the title of the game.
