imGlitch

imGlitch depicts Glitch, Twitch's purple speech-bubble brand character. During Twitch's 2019 brand refresh, the company described Glitch as its shorthand way of saying `Twitch` and as a personification of the community. Twitch changed the logo's look while preserving the recognizable shape that had already become closely associated with the service.

The command reads like `I'm Glitch`, turning Twitch's own visual identity into a self-reference inside Twitch chat.

Viewers type imGlitch when Twitch itself is the subject, including platform news, site features, TwitchCon, brand references and jokes about the service or its community.
