HarleyWink was the Harley Quinn emote in Twitch's three-character DC set released on October 15, 2021 with DarkKnight and WhySoSerious. The set arrived immediately before DC FanDome 2021, which streamed on Twitch on October 16 and included a preview of Harley Quinn season three alongside major Batman, film, game and comic announcements.

Harley Quinn has an unusual origin for a character who became one of DC's biggest names. Paul Dini and Bruce Timm created her for Batman: The Animated Series, and she first appeared in the 1992 episode "Joker's Favor." Dini drew inspiration from actress Arleen Sorkin, whose jester appearance on Days of Our Lives helped shape the character. Harley began as the Joker's henchwoman before Harleen Quinzel's history as an Arkham psychiatrist and her increasingly independent identity became central to the character. HarleyWink used that mischievous personality for a playful wink reaction in chat.
