GTACamera

GTACamera was a Twitch global emote from GTA RP Week, held from December 15 to 21, 2023. Rockstar Games and Twitch used the week to celebrate the Grand Theft Auto roleplay community after the Cfx.re team and the technology behind FiveM and RedM had officially joined Rockstar earlier that year. The promotion highlighted RP streamers from around the world on Twitch's front page and distributed more than 600,000 subscriptions in the GTA V category.

The command pairs GTA with a camera. GTA roleplay is built around players performing improvised police work, crime, businesses, relationships and other in-character scenes while an audience watches them unfold live. During GTA RP Week, Twitch put those creators and their ongoing stories directly on its front page, making the camera motif a direct reference to the spectator side of the RP scene.

When this emote was active, viewers typed GTACamera in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers used GTACamera for dramatic roleplay scenes, unexpected reveals, funny in-character moments, memorable clips and anything in GTA RP that felt especially worth catching on camera.
