GlitchCat

GlitchCat is an orange-and-white cat wearing an oversized dark-purple visor, created by Twitch creator nikkigames11 for GlitchCon in 2020. GlitchCon was Twitch's virtual convention during a year when its normal in-person gathering was replaced by an online event built around streams, games and audience interaction.

nikkigames11 took part in GlitchCon's artist and creative alley and later described GlitchCat becoming a Twitch global as one of the best moments of her streaming career. Her own accounts also preserve the key detail behind the promotion: Twitch chat voted the cat into the global emote set.

The command combines GlitchCon's "Glitch" branding with the cat in the image, while the purple visor makes the Twitch connection visible even without the command beside it.
