FUNgineer is an old Twitch reaction face showing a bald man with a dark beard. Its early use centered on resemblance: viewers posted the emote when another bald, bearded person appeared on stream.

League of Legends chat gave FUNgineer a lasting second life through Fnatic coach Luis `Deilor` Sevilla. Viewers thought Deilor resembled the face and spammed FUNgineer when tournament cameras showed him. In a 2015 AMA, Deilor was asked directly about Twitch chat using FUNgineer whenever he appeared on camera and replied that he knew about the joke and loved it.

The original man in the image is not established as Deilor.

Viewers type FUNgineer in Twitch chat for bald-and-beard lookalikes, Fnatic or Deilor callbacks, and moments when a stern or intense face on stream resembles the emote.
