FBCatch

FBCatch is the reception reaction in Twitch's American-football emote set. The image shows two gloved hands reaching to secure a football, and the command names the result every receiver wants: a catch.

FBCatch sits beside FBPass, FBRun, FBBlock, FBSpiral, FBPenalty, FBChallenge, and FBtouchdown as a small vocabulary for describing a football play in chat. Viewers were already using the set compositionally by 2020, including a Nightbot command where FBPass sent the ball, FBCatch marked a successful reception, and FBRun continued the play.

Viewers type FBCatch in Twitch chat to use it. It fits completed passes, tough catches, clutch grabs, and clean receptions. It also works when someone catches a thrown or falling object on stream.
