EWCcrush was an animated Twitch global for the 2025 Esports World Cup partnership. Twitch's Brand Partnership Studio described the emote as one part of a broader EWC launch that also included a Virtual Arena where viewers could appear as avatars, support teams and take part in stream activities.

`Crush` comes from the Esports World Cup's player-key ritual. Competitors receive personalized keys, and eliminated players surrender theirs in a ceremony where the keys are crushed. The broken fragments are preserved in resin as part of the event's trophy system, while champions keep their own keys as part of their title. EWCcrush turns that physical elimination ritual into a chat command.
