EWCcrush

This EWCcrush is the 2026 animated identity for the Esports World Cup, separate from the 2025 emote that used the same command. Twitch added this version on July 8, 2026 as EWC 2026 opened in Paris.

The animation shows a gold player key being destroyed by a mechanical press, reproducing the Esports World Cup's Key Crush ceremony. Every competitor receives a personalized key as part of the EWC trophy system. When a player or team is eliminated, the winner can crush that defeated competitor's key in the Key Crusher.

The destruction is not just theatrical. Crushed keys become part of the event's physical trophy system: fragments are preserved in resin beneath the EWC Totem, while champions select three crushed keys from opponents they defeated to place in the base of their championship trophy. EWC broadcasts in Paris continued showing winners crushing keys after eliminations throughout the 2026 event.
