DwightDBD was a limited animated Twitch global emote created for Twitch Fright Fest's Dead by Daylight collaboration from October 24 to 31, 2024. Twitch spent the week highlighting horror content and offered three Dead by Daylight badges as watch rewards, while DwightDBD was available to everyone in chat during the celebration.

The "Dwight" in the name is Dwight Fairfield, one of Dead by Daylight's original Survivors. Dwight is written as an unlikely leader whose strengths are cooperation rather than brute force. His signature perks Bond, Prove Thyself and Leader all help him find or improve nearby teammates, which is why he became one of the game's clearest symbols of Survivor teamwork. Adding "DBD" identifies the game and distinguishes the character reference from an ordinary name.
