duDudu

duDudu turns Darude's 1999 electronic track Sandstorm into a Twitch reaction. The sandy spiral makes the song title visual, while the command imitates the rapid `du-du-du` sound associated with its synth hook.

Twitch adopted that shorthand itself. A January 2015 Twitch Weekly post teased music with `DUDUDUDUDU`, Darude played the first TwitchCon party later that year, and Twitch promoted a Sandstorm Theater with `#duDudu`. By 2016, Twitch was calling Darude the `duDudu DJ himself`.

Viewers type duDudu when Sandstorm is playing or when chat is making the old joke of answering a music-identification question with Darude's track.
