DoritosChip is a branded Twitch global showing a single orange Doritos tortilla chip. The command names the product directly, giving Twitch chat a literal piece of branded food rather than a character or reaction face.

Viewers quickly turned that simplicity into its own chat joke. Preserved 2016 messages build DoritosChip pyramids, pretend to hand chips to other viewers and repeat the emote as if chat were passing snacks around during a stream.

The emote also became unusually successful for a branded global. Marketing research covering November 2, 2017 through January 8, 2018 recorded 1,057,000 DoritosChip uses, making it Twitch's most-used branded emote during that measured period.
