CurseLit

CurseLit was added in September 2016 to celebrate Twitch's integration with the Curse communication platform. Curse had joined the Twitch family the previous month, and account syncing then brought Twitch emotes into the Curse app.

The image is a stylized flame, turning `lit` into literal fire while also using the slang sense of something exciting or impressive. `Curse` names the platform being integrated. Twitch made CurseLit a new global for the celebration, while the companion TwitchLit emote was granted to people who downloaded Curse and synced their Twitch account.

Viewers type CurseLit in Twitch chat for hype moments, hot streaks, impressive plays, anything chat wants to call "lit," or nostalgic references to Twitch's 2016 integration with Curse.
