copyThis is the copy-machine half of Twitch's copyThis and pastaThat joke. The pair literalizes "copypasta," the internet term for blocks of text that are repeatedly copied and pasted across chats and forums: copyThis supplies the copier, while pastaThat supplies an actual plate of pasta.

Twitch treated the two as a matched set outside chat as well. After a copyThis pin became popular at PAX South 2016, Twitch brought a matching pastaThat pin to PAX East and called it copyThis's "partner in crime." The physical pin pairing mirrored the same copy-and-pasta joke viewers were using in Twitch chat.
