CoolCat shows an orange tabby wearing oversized purple sunglasses. The command is deliberately literal: the glasses turn the pictured animal into the "cool cat" named in Twitch chat.

The emote was already established in Twitch culture by 2015, when viewers used CoolCat when somebody on stream put on sunglasses. It also appeared in older cat-themed copypastas alongside other Twitch globals such as Kappa and Keepo, giving the simple photograph a place in the platform's early chat vocabulary.
