B)

B) is Twitch's sunglasses family. In text emoticons, B and 8 have both been used to suggest dark glasses, and Twitch's current robot artwork makes the idea explicit with a smiling face behind a straight pair of sunglasses.

8-) was among the early glasses-wearing smiley variations that followed the 1982 :-) convention. TwitchTV later used :B) for a robot sunglasses face, while Justin.tv used B) for a sunglasses-wearing monkey. Twitch now recognizes B), B-), and 8-) as variants of the same sunglasses artwork.

Viewers type B) in Twitch chat to use this emote. The same artwork family also includes B-) and 8-). It works for a slick play, confident prediction, stylish entrance, effortless win, or a deliberately self-satisfied "cool" reaction.
