ChefFrank

ChefFrank debuted on March 15, 2016 with Twitch Creative's new 24/7 Food channel. Twitch opened the channel with a marathon of all 201 episodes of Julia Child's PBS series The French Chef and released three matching global emotes: ChefFrank, NomNom, and StinkyCheese. Contemporary coverage credited artist RinTheYordle with creating the trio for Twitch.

The image shows a puppy dressed in a white chef's hat and coat, so the cooking role is readable even at chat size. The command pairs that role with the name Frank. Twitch never published a surviving explanation for why the puppy is called Frank, so the page does not manufacture a FrankerZ connection.

Viewers type ChefFrank in Twitch chat for cooking streams, recipe wins or disasters, food discussions, kitchen jokes, or moments when someone on stream is confidently taking charge of a meal.
