BrokeBack

BrokeBack shows Alan Savicki from the SeriousGaming Twitch channel pulling an exaggerated face with his eyes crossed and his tongue out. Alan and Victoria Savicki ran SeriousGaming together, and in 2015 Twitch listed the channel among the competitors in its 35-team ARK: Survival of the Fittest tournament at Twitch headquarters. Studio Wildcard also described Alan and Vic as a Twitch power couple during ARK: Survival Evolved's early-access period.

By 2015, BrokeBack was already being used as Alan's "derpface" alongside stupid or deliberately dopey messages. The crossed-eye, tongue-out expression also became a reaction for weird accidents, baffling decisions and wins that look more like dumb luck than skill.

Viewers type BrokeBack in Twitch chat to use it. Viewers use BrokeBack for baffling mistakes, dumb luck, bizarre outcomes, deliberately stupid jokes, and callbacks to Alan and SeriousGaming.
