BratChat

BratChat was created for Charli XCX's October 10, 2024 listening party at Storm King Art Center in New York. Charli selected Storm King herself, Twitch relaunched its TwitchMusic channel for the event, and the stream previewed Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat one day before the remix album's release.

The emote copies Brat's acid-green field and plain black lowercase typography but replaces the album title with `chat`. Twitch's 2024 recap later counted 3.1 million BratChat uses after the Storm King livestream itself peaked at about 35,900 viewers, showing that the custom event reaction continued circulating far beyond the audience of its launch stream.

Viewers type BratChat for Charli XCX and Brat references, or when `chat` itself is being addressed in the album's recognizable acid-green visual style.
